Animal lovers and curious minds will be catered to their heart's content during our birthday parties. Learn all about our animals, and a guided tour will take you to the most special places in the zoo. Have energy left? Then scramble around with your friends in our indoor or outdoor playground. That's bound to make you hungry! No worries! A festive lunch is ready for you.

  • with tour through Africa and Asia (for children from 5 to 12 years)
  • with guided tour of the Oceanium (for children from 7 to 12 years)

These packages all include:

  • all-day access to Blijdorp
  • children's menu with children's portion of fries, mayonnaise, chicken nuggets, bottle of lemonade, pear ice cream;
  • supervisors can also opt for coffee/tea instead of lemonade with this menu;
  • the birthday boy/girl is always free!

  • The subscription holder's discount applies only if the birthday child is a subscriber to Diergaarde Blijdorp;
  • a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 children, including the birthday child;
  • a maximum of 1 supervisor per 3 children and a minimum of 1 supervisor per 12 children;
  • prices are per child/supervisor;
  • unfortunately, the children's parties with a guided tour are not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs due to stairs;
  • the special children's tour lasts approximately 1 ½ hours;
  • children's parties with a guided tour are available from September through the end of June on Wednesday afternoons, and Saturday and Sunday mornings;
  • children's parties with a treasure hunt are available all year round.
